ARTISTIC CAREER

Alfredo Martinez Perez

Alfredo Martinez began his career being a ceramist and still carrying out various tasks within this ancient tradition. Soon he began to develop in many other fields of art, thereby taking a long trip in which self is still immersed and that surprises everyone who in one way or another they approach their work.

In his workshop for the study of Alameda de Cervera, we can see its great versatility, andincredible techniques and materials has gradually been used to create his work.

Painting, sculpture and engraving are some of the facets as an artist has endeavored todevelop, and successfully, as it has obtained the recognition of his work in manycompetitions and exhibitions in which he participated: Madrid, Toledo, Ciudad Real. ..

Who is coming to an art world often is surprised by the creativity of his sculpture, which firstbegan to develop ceramic techniques, later reflecting influences African wood, then iron, stone and other materials in the field that has managed to use with perfect balance, tocreate figures full of movement and expression. He specializes in material to makeeverything his art to rural area offers: wooden beams, bars, plows, anvils ...

But what is also striking is the richness of his work that makes you stand out mainly by having an immense and inexhaustible creative desire: painting, pottery, mosaics, ceramics, prints, scenery, sets and many more ... you have to experience again and again for every new thing that decides to undertake.

You have to commend their initiative and their tenacious and dangerous features whichAlfredo Martinez has for years and we hope to continue passing on to future opportunities.
